  • 04/02/09 Moving On
Got word that Wacom is getting me involved with a few things. Back to freelance and other contract oppertunities. Good time for a fresh start once again.

Look out for a few surpises over at Evoke. They just released a new exhibition of great artwork. More details soon on their upcoming release.

    01/20/09  The New BPT 4.0
The new Beatport version 4 is near complete. A lot of us in the office have been up for many hours/days finishing the last touches to get it ready for the launch date. A complete redesign of the interface and many new features accompany the upgrade. Check out the microsite for further details on the new beatport. Site includes tutorials, previews, and guides to the new features.

    11/10/08  First Site
Decided to finally get a small website up. By the time this is published there will most likely be a new version up, so this probably won't mean anything. I've also noticed my name making a few rounds on several design blogs. Thanks for everyone who takes an interest in my work.

  • 08/25/09  More Illustration Work
There are a few new projects added in graphic design and illustration. I have also decided the site needed a refresh and departure from the old design used for the better half of the year. Just finished a few things with BBH as well .

    04/08/09  Freelancing
There are a few new entries in the Illustration and Graphic Design sections under work. I have been busy working on a few new projects, both web and illustration media. I'll try and keep everyone updated with whats going on. Currently thinking about relocating to pursue other freelance and contract oppertunities.

    03/29/09  New Wacom Campaign
The Wacom marketing department has selected myself and 5 other artists to be featured in part of their new marketing campaign for the new Intuos 4 tablet line. This exciting new tablet series really does a great job of enhancing the capabilities of illustration and design.

Be sure to read up on the new specs for each tablet size. There is quite a noticeable difference from previous models. Check out Intuos for more details.

  • 01/10/10  New Developments
These past few months I have been involved with a couple different new web start ups. In hopes of expanding my horizon with different mediums I have challenged myself with several branding and design tasks for Groundmap & Hungry1. It is an interesting and fast paced work ethic since the internet medium evloves so quickly. Check back soon to see work I've done for these two sites.

Also be sure to check out George Smiths work over at End Effect. He has a couple prints released for 2009 that are very nice.

    01/01/10  Happy New Years
Would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year. I think this year is going to hold some of the most advancements in social media and technology we have ever seen. I think 2010 will hold some key design styles and trends yet to be seen. If there was one thing I would mandate for the start of this year it would be stating the date as "twenty ten", instead of "two thousand and ten". :)

One final note, a good audio pannel discussion on the biggest tech stories of the decade is the
    TWIT epside 228.

  • 03/19/10  Some Exposure
Wanted to thank the guys over at Computer Arts for featuring me in issue #174. I also will have a feature in Quatro Publishing's "Digital Brushes" which will be out later this year. My friend Eric Bieller has a new site up, be sure to check out some of his work and interesting blog articles. I have worked with Eric on a few projects, most notably Groundmap. You can check out some of my related work in my gallery or also on Behance Network.

I'd like to leave you with some awesome design inspiration from Veerle. Nice bits of various types of design styles.

    03/01/10  Now In California
I have now settled down in wonderful Mountain View California. The bay area is very exciting and inspiring. There is so much talent and creativity the state fosters. I'll now be working as an in house Visual Designer for a web company called Geeknet. We share a nice place with our friends Mozilla. Look forward to showcasing some of the new work I've done while living here. So little time these days.

As always I appreciate the support from everyone. I'm going to try my hardest to update this site more often, stay tunned.
